AISI 304 stainless steel / AISI 316 stainless steel

High quality stainless steel alloys, used especially for the most sophisticated surface finishes of Lifts and Escalators: supermirror, satin, shot peened, lamination relief and pvd coating.

Metaly® technology, moreover, can be used for other stainless steel alloys.

Possibility of reproducing any image, graphic style or decorative pattern on Metaly® Inox slabs.

Atmospheric and UV resistance

Tests have been carried out at the materials engineering department of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia according to the UNI EN 1670: 2007 and UNI EN 508-2: 2019 directives.

The tests results have shown that Metaly® Inox is as resistant to salt mist and UV rays as stainless steel alloys AISI 304/AISI316.

With the use of AISI 316 stainless steel raw material, Metaly® Inox achieves a high degree of corrosion resistance, even if used in particularly aggressive environments.

Contact with food products

Metaly® Inox surfaces can be used where there is contact with food, as they maintain exactly the same characteristics of the raw material, and paints, chemical solvents or acids are totally absent, according to the UNI EN 10088-1: 2005 standard.

Ductility and Malleability

It is possible to apply deep drawing and more generally cold mechanical deformations on the Metaly® Inox slabs while maintaining the continuity of the decoration on the surface intact.

Natural colouring

Metaly® Inox receives its colour range from the very nature of the material base, with natural shades that vary from light grey to intense dark brown.

Conditions of supply

The Metaly® Inox product is supplied in flat slabs of the same dimensions as the raw material used. Further processing can be integrated upon customer request.

Maintenance

For maintenance, Metaly® Inox products require the same treatments as the corresponding stainless steel alloys.

Ecological

Metaly® Inox is a totally ecological and recyclable metal.
